The St. Thomas Panthers Peewee BB Girls moved on to the 2nd round of the LLFHL playoffs with a 2 game sweep of the Kitchener Lady Rangers. On Saturday, the girls took it to Kitchener on home ice. Kaitlin Ellery scored in the first minute and the girls never looked back on way to a 4-1 win. Jordyn Wilcox lead the way with a goal and an assist. Claire Banks and Kailey Dennis added a goal apiece. Gracie Clinton, Haley Agius, Amanda Vlasman and Jaylin Wismer picked up assists.

The St. Thomas Panthers have been on a roll since November in Peewee BB girls hockey. First , they claimed the Panthers on the Prowl tournament in early December, going undefeated along the way. They beat Hamilton 5-0, tied Kent County 1-1 and then beat London 2-0. In the rematch against London in the final, the Panthers beat the Devillettes 1-0 to claim gold. In the new year, St. Thomas captured the Woodstock Wildcats tournament. After losing their opening game 2-1 to Wilmot, the Panthers reeled off four straight wins to take the crown. They beat Kitchener 2-1 and Stoney Creek 1-0 before besting Kitchener again in the final 3-2. By going undefeated in their last 10 games, the Panthers claimed second place in Lower Lakes Female Hockey League play, only one point back of Waterloo for first.
