Regular Season Summary
The St. Thomas Panthers have been on a roll since November in Peewee BB girls hockey. First , they claimed the Panthers on the Prowl tournament in early December, going undefeated along the way. They beat Hamilton 5-0, tied Kent County 1-1 and then beat London 2-0. In the rematch against London in the final, the Panthers beat the Devillettes 1-0 to claim gold. In the new year, St. Thomas captured the Woodstock Wildcats tournament. After losing their opening game 2-1 to Wilmot, the Panthers reeled off four straight wins to take the crown. They beat Kitchener 2-1 and Stoney Creek 1-0 before besting Kitchener again in the final 3-2. By going undefeated in their last 10 games, the Panthers claimed second place in Lower Lakes Female Hockey League play, only one point back of Waterloo for first.

Wednesday in London, St. Thomas won 1-0 on a goal by Hailey Agius and shutout goaltending by Sara Verboom. February is a busy month as the Panthers try to qualify for provincials April 4-7 in Ottawa against London and the BAD (Belmont Aylmer Dorchester) Blazers. They also have the first round of playoffs against Kitchener. Schedules will be posted on the club website at www.stthomaspanthers.com. Their overall record is 18 wins, nine losses and seven ties.
