Bantam B ('02-'03), 2016-2017 (St. Thomas Panthers)

The girls went undefeated in the 4 game round robin- 3 wins and 1 tie -  with 10 goals for and only 4 against, putting us in first place. Our goalie Rianne Neill posted 2 shut outs in the round robin. The gold medal game on Sunday was a nail-biter! The Panthers scored half way through the first to take a 1-0 lead, but the Bisons managed to match it only a minute later. The game went on like that for all 3 periods- we would score and the Bisons would come right back. That left us tied 3-3 at the end of regulation, leading to a 5 minute 3-on-3 sudden-death overtime. Really nice start to season the other night ladies lots of potential and great group of hard working panthers . I m extremely excited some real characters and fun loving team looking forward to upcoming season. At this time I do ask that you register for panthers hockey, itsportsnet is now up and running . A big thank you to all the young ladies that attended the panthers bantam  tryout process. Everyone was hard working, eager and so polite and nice. What a great group . Trying to chose a final roster was extremely difficult . Your efforts and sportsmanship did not go noticed and was appreciated by all the coaches and evaluaters.
