The Panthers board would like to Congratulate and welcome Daryl as head coach for the tier 1 U13 team.
Born
and raised in Stratford, Ontario. Daryl played all of his minor hockey in
Stratford at various competitive levels. Daryl started coaching the Stratford
Warriors AA Boys Hockey, as an assistant coach. He moved to St. Thomas, Ontario
in 2007, where him & his wife started a family, and now have 3 children,
who are all involved in minor hockey.
In
St. Thomas, Daryl has been coaching various levels of hockey, and started
coaching in 2016 with the STMHA. From there on, Daryl has been apart of both
the Panthers and St. Thomas Stars organizations. Daryl is very passionate about
the game, and even more passionate and excited to teach what he has learned
over the years. He is looking forward to creating a strong work ethic amongst
the girls and teach them to be leaders on and off the ice. Daryl believes it is
important for the girls to learn the skills they need to play hockey, and at
the same time develop life skills and friendships to come together as a team. He
believes in developing good people first, and good hockey players second. Daryl
is looking forward to putting his knowledge and experience into the role of
head coach with the U13 Tier 1 Panthers team for the 2023/2024 season.
