Update on Game Play & Format

The Panthers board continues to review local, regional and provincial return to play directives.  We know our players are keen to get back into the action.  In alignment with Southwestern Public Health and OWHA guidelines, as well as local arena protocols, we are continuing with in-house development only.  We are not permitted to have teams from outside our Association at the Joe Thornton arena.  In addition, Panthers teams are not permitted to play against teams outside the organization at this time.

In order to foster development and growth, we are recommending coaches construct practices to include 3vs3 or 4vs4 team scrimmages, to apply learning from practices. Consider adding off-ice challenges as well to nurture competition.

Note:  We will continue to monitor return to play guidance, and will provide prompt feedback to the Association when pertinent updates are available.
