Award Winner #5
Submitted By Mary Thibert on Monday, May 18, 2020
Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great long weekend, I am sure everyone had to celebrate a little differently than what they are used too, hopefully we can get back to some sort of normalcy and back on the ice soon. I would like to encourage everyone to continue to follow the site for any updates. With that being said here is your Midget Scholarship Award Winner.

Midget Scholarship Award

This Panther is a very dedicated student who applies herself consistently both on and off the ice. On the ice, she is a hard worker who never stops skating. She very rarely misses practices or games, and does very well to balance her on ice commitment with the heavy workload that comes with her senior year of high school.

This Panther is extremely dedicated to her academic work, always doing assignment on time, prepares and studies for tests during trips to practices and games or even during breaks at tournaments. In her grade 11 year she was rewarded with marks at the top of her class, getting highest marks in seven of her eight courses (English, Advance Functions, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Chemistry, and Biology). Her enthusiasm for her studies is evident in the extra time and energy she puts into term projects at school. She has also shared her learning with others by volunteering at her public library literacy program. This Panther is planning on going to university next year to take Environmental Science. She is Passionate about environmental issues, and tributes a lot of her discipline and success at school to things she has learned through hockey. We wish her luck with her future goals and dreams.

Congratulations Freyja Moser!
