Big Cat Tournament ...Panther Numbers
Submitted By Dave Humphreys on Tuesday, September 26, 2017
I would like to thank all of the volunteers and teams that came together this weekend to make the Big Cat Tournament a huge success.  Specifically, I would like to thank Phillipa and Trevor Pellerine for their hours and hours of work both before and during this weekend.  You are true professionals and we appreciate your time.

We hosted 39 teams in 9 divisions.  We had two teams from the United States and the rest from across Ontario.
One of those divisions was a 2 team exhibition series.
Of the remaining 8 divisions we had 37 total teams playing for medals.
The Panthers had a great showing and at least one of our teams played in a championship at each age group.
We won 5 medals in the 8 divisions.

The following Panther teams brought home medals at the tournament:
Atom A/BB- Silver
PW BB- Gold
Bantam B- Gold
Midget B- Silver
Midget BB- Silver (Shoot-out)

Congratulations to all of our Panther teams.  It was great to watch you play and grow as a team.  I cannot wait to see what the year brings for this organization.
