Midget A tryouts are almost here
Welcome to the 2017 2018 Midget A tryout program. If you are looking to challenge yourself and see if you have what it takes to play at the highest level you can..
Then you have come to the right place....
The coaching staff for the Midget A team comes with a combined 60 plus years of hockey knowledge. We are a trio of non parent coaches who have worked together for the last decade. We have played at the NCAA, OHL, Senior A and Junior B levels and understand the game of hockey. Sean Beer, Kevin Callaghan and Bob Deane have been successful coaches at all levels in both mens and womens hockey.
Our style of play requires a strong skill set, hockey sense, drive and determination. We will challenge you to play outside of our current comfort zone on the ice. We fully understand that new game and what it takes to be successful. You will learn how to control the opponent and the game itself.
Too many organizations are struggling to keep their top-level players. We do not have that problem! If you have the skills to play on our team, you will have a spot...period. No favouritism, nepotism or back room deals. You can either play or you can't. It will be your effort on the ice that gains you a place on our team...not who your parents stand with during tryouts.
I encourage all of you who want to accept our challenge, come on out and show us that you deserve a place on our team. Don't sit back and then have another year where you don't love playing the game.
Hockey is the greatest game in the world and you should love coming to the rink! We still do after all these years.
