We had a very successful spring evaluation skate, thank you to everyone who helped out!!
Thank you to all the girls for their hard work over the last number of skates. We are happy to announce that the Atom Panthers will have two very competitive teams. As I have mentioned before there will be two teams but we will be working together to make sure each team is successful, meaning there will be movement between the two teams. We are expecting 3-4 additional girls by September, as a few were either late registering or unable to attend spring evaluation skates.
Each girl was evaluated by myself and two non parent evaluators, who both have extensive hockey and coaching backgrounds. We evaluated the girls in both practice and game situations and were looking at the girls skating ability, puck handling/movement and game awareness. Each girl was ranked by the evaluator taking into consideration the above information.
