Midget A's Take Kanata Title
The St Thomas Panthers Midget A team are Kanata GHA Tournament Champions! The November 11-13 tournament included teams from as far away as Timmins and other places across Ontario and Quebec. The Panthers beat the Vaughan Flames 2-0 in the semi-final to advance to the final against the Express de AHFVG from Quebec. In a fast and aggressive game the Panthers scored with just under a minute in regulation to beat the Express 1-0 and capture the championship! The team also had the opportunity on Remembrance Day to tour Parliament Hill and the National War Memorial.
