We are now less than a week away from the start of tryouts. Some of you may be in the midst of AA tryouts in one or more centers. This is the toughest time of the year for all, players and parents included. All you want to hear from a coach is that they want you to play on their team!! Now is when you will have to make a decision.
I have been a certified coach for 28 years now. Kevin and Bob, our Offensive and Defensive coaches, each have over 20 years of coaching. All three of us has played at the highest levels of junior and collegiate hockey and we bring that experience to our coaching duties.
We are non parent coaches and have coached at all levels of hockey in both boys and girls hockey. Our three panel coaching staff have coached together for the last 7 and have had success at all levels.
What do we have to offer you?
You will be challenged
to test your abilities to the fullest. You will be required to commit to the team but more specifically you will be tasked to commit to the girls that you will skate with and play side by side with for the next year. We will commit to you to provide the best coaching that you will have received in your playing career. Having played at the highest levels we know what is required both mentally and physically. You will learn how you can best apply your individual skillset into our team philosophy. We will get you to the next level and prepare you for a college or University career.
I stated earlier that you have to make a decision at this time. Here is what you have to decide....
Do I continue to play at a comfortable level OR do I choose now, to be challenged to be the best and play the best that I am capable of playing? Do I want to set and achieve reachable goals? Do I want to grow and learn how to play the greatest game in the world at its top level?
If you have answered yes to any or all of the above then you have already decided to come and play in our program. We are not a one and done coaching trio. We are in it for the longhaul for you and our team.
So get your skates sharpened, tape up that stick and come ready to go next Tuesday night!!
