Novice C ('08-'07), 2015-2016 (St. Thomas Panthers)

Dedication, teamwork and integrity landed the Novice C Panthers a 1st place finish on the podium in a very tough Division 1 pool.  The division championship title was very tight heading into the final three games; through perseverance the Panthers were able to clinch the title over the fierce South Huron Sabres. Undefeated in the regular season and heading into the playoffs, the Panthers are riding high on adrenaline and excited to see how far their hard work and pride can take them. The Novice Panthers suffered their first league loss of the season in a hard fought battle against the Chatham Outlaws.  The game was a back and forth battle for the entire game.  The Chatham goalie stood on her head a number of times against our speedy forwards who were able to get a number of breakaways.  Our defense keep the bigger Chatham forwards in check for most of the game.  Addison K stopped a number of big shots throughout the game!   I know the girls are hungry to get back out there and get another "W" in the Win column and avenge this 3-1 loss.  Fear the Cat!
