Mission Accomplished!
Submitted By Dave Humphreys on Sunday, September 22, 2013
What a week!  In just over 10 days we picked our team, travelled west to defeat the Chatham Outlaws and then travelled east to The Oakville Harvest Classic Tournament. In 12 days we had five practices, 5 games and an overall record of 3-1-1.

We quickly learned that we have a team of girls who are learning to compete, and thrive on playing at a higher level.  We came from behind to win or tie our first 3 games this season.  While game 4 was a loss, we battled hard into the final few minutes before surrendering a goal to a team that would eventually win their division.    That game taught us a lot. In the words of Dave Fox “sometimes the best learning comes from close losses”. In our last game, that proved true. We came out strong from the start and never waivered.  All girls pitched-in for a great 4-0 team win.

The learning curve has been steep.  Just the way we like it!
