  • Recap
    The St Thomas Panthers Atom B team competed this past weekend in the Barrie Sharkfest tournament.  The team opened with a 3-0 win over the Orillia Hawks with Gracie Clinton, Christine Baxter and Kailey Dennis scoring for St Thomas.  The Panthers then defeated the Oakville Hornets 2-0 with Clinton and Dennis getting their second goals of the tournament.  St Thomas then defeated the Sudbury Wolves 1-0, with Clinton getting her third goal of the tournament, and this placed them in first place in their pool.  The semi-finals saw the Panthers earn a hard fought 3-0 win over the Waterloo Ravens as Maddie Crossett picked up her first goal of the tournament and Gracie Clinton getting her fourth and fifth.  Braelyn Dennis also picked up her fourth shutout of the tournament.  St Thomas would face the undefeated North Simcoe Capitals in the final.  The Panthers generated some excellent scoring chances in the game but were defeated 1-0 and came away with silver medals.
