Sometimes you do both
On the backs of our very strong goalies, we did some winning and learning this weekend.
Raquel Chhorn-Ryan started us off in the right direction locking down a shut-out in game 1. Then we met with the strong Kincardine team who had us chasing our panther tail, Shenae Zamora made big save after big save until having to leave the game to injury, giving us hope even if the scoreboard didn't show it. Game 3 started off on the wrong skate for Raquel, but with help from our never give up attitude and a pair of goals from Megan VanLingen , Rocky shut it down form there. Shenae had a great bounce back game from injury in game 4 shutting-out Woodstock. Off to the finals to face Kincardine again. This time we knew we had to change our game and change we did. We started boxing out Kincardine and put pressure on them all over the ice forcing them to play a different game. The Panthers were beat up and pushed around but never stopped. I am very proud of the Effort and Learning we accomplished to Win a silver medal. Like I said sometimes you do both. Congratulations Girls
