Feeling Golden in Brantford!
Wearing our Gold medals with pride and full smiles!
We are thrilled to share that our Bantam B girls took home Gold in Brantford on February 23rd. The girls battled to a record of 2 wins against Owen Sound and Hamilton, 1 tie against Brantford and 1 loss against Bluewater in regulation play. We qualified for the finals against our local rivals Bluewater - whom we had just beat out of playoffs in game 3 overtime and had a 2-2 tie in play downs the week prior.
We knew it was going to be a battle for Gold but our girls worked hard as a team to beat them 2-1 in a 3 vs 3 overtime, with Samara George getting our Golden Goal 2 minutes into OT.
Coaches are proud how hard the girls are working as a team at the end of this season and are ready to our attack our remaining play down games! Keep up the good work girls!
