Provincial Bound
Well with hard work and a little luck the girls punched their ticket to provincials. They didn't make it easy on themselves or the parents watching, coming down to the last game to clinch.
Without putting a lot of pucks in the back of the net and some questionable disallowed ones made it a pretty stressful run of games. They kept their composure and stuck with it until the final buzzer on Friday night. The scores were close in all of the games and only allowing 3 goals in 4 games is a great defensive effort. Emma Carr posting a shutout in the last game was a big factor, of course she was not alone out there. Every player on the team contributed making it a team effort. Congratulations girls very well done. Now lets stay focused and put some more pucks in the back of the net. I'm a very proud coach and thank you.
