Atom Panthers Win Silver at Walter Gretzky Tournament
Congratulations to our girls for their hard work and attention to detail this weekend. We asked for a lot, and you delivered.
Going into the tournament, we had two goals. 1) play maximum number of games and 2) return home with some hardware. Mission Accomplished. After having to duck out of Brantford and play in Parkhill on Friday, the girls had enough gas in the tank to battle hard, before running out of time in a tight 1-0 final Sunday afternoon.
We grew as a team this weekend! We are better now than we were just 3 days ago. The lessons learned this weekend will propel us forward as we continue WOGHL playoffs and OWHA play-downs.
I can't wait to continue our journey this week. Together we will accomplish great things!
