Free Pizza and Dominos Development Sessions 3.0 -Goalies, Coaches and Trainers
Submitted By Dave Humphreys on Wednesday, November 1, 2017
In addition to our usual sessions, this month we will focus on our coaches, trainers and goalies. Oh yeah, we will also give away some free pizza too!

November has been officially rebranded as SCOREvember!  In an effort to live up to its name we need to make sure we are hitting the mark when shooting.  As such, the team that takes the most shots (off ice at home) will win a pizza party after a practice or game.  The rules are easy.  Each player records the number of shots they take at home each day from November 1st to 30th.  Remember to get your head up, pick a target and transfer your weight, like coach Mike has taught us.  At the end of each week, give your coach your totals who will pass them on to me for updates.  The winning team will be the team with the most shots per player (total for team divided by number of players).  Goalies are include in this too.  Goalies can either shoot with goalie stick and gloves on, or count catches throwing a ball against a wall or with a friend.

Train the Trainers
November 2nd we will have our train the trainers night at St. Joseph's High school room 110-4 from 7-8 pm.  During this time we will explain the Privit system, answer any questions/concerns and teach your team trainer how to get the most out of this system. We will also briefly cover return to play following concussions and a brief primer on dealing with on-ice issues.

Goalie Development Session
On November 12, from 9-10 am at Memorial arena, Paul Gibson of Goalie Detail will lead our first goalie-only development session of the season. All goalies in our organization are encouraged to attend, as are their coaches.

Coach's Development Session
On November 26 from 11:00-12:35 Mike Ellis will be instructing a coach's session at Timken.  The first 45 minutes will be off-ice/classroom, with the on-ice session beginning at 11:45.  Please email Charles Annett with number attending so that we have sufficient classroom space.  Please remember your on-ice equipment.

We hope you are as excited about these events as we are.  We look forward to your participation.
